Welcome to the Help Center! Here youll find answers to the most common questions about using the Farmers Online Marketplace & Poultry Management System (PMS).

To create an account:
• Scroll to the footer and click Join Us or go to the Sign Up page
• Fill in your personal details (name, email/phone, password, farm or business details if required)
• Submit the form to complete registration
• Once registered, log in using your details and start using the system immediately
• On the login page, click Forgot Password
• Enter your registered email or phone number
• Follow the instructions sent to you to reset your password
• Log in to your account
• Navigate to the Marketplace section
• Click Add Product
• Fill in product information:
- Product name
- Category
- Quantity available
- Price
- Description
• Upload a clear product image (recommended)
• Save your product — it will now appear in the marketplace for buyers
• Go to My Products in your dashboard
• Select the product you want to update
• Choose Edit to change details (price, stock, description, etc.)
• Choose Delete if you want to permanently remove it from the marketplace
• Browse the Marketplace to see available products
• Click on the product you're interested in to view details
• If ordering is enabled, follow the checkout steps
• If not, use the provided contact information to reach the seller directly
The PMS is a tool designed specifically for poultry farmers to track their farm activities.
Here's what you can do in PMS:
• Record Production: Log the number of eggs, chicks, or birds produced daily
• Track Sales: Record every sale with quantity, product type, and amount earned
• Log Expenses: Add costs for feeds, medicines, equipment, and utilities
• Generate Reports: View summaries showing your profits, expenses, and production trends over time
This helps you understand your farm's performance and make informed decisions.
Yes. Under the Reports section in PMS:
• Choose the type of report (production, sales, or expenses)
• Select a date range
• The system will display totals, charts, or tables summarizing your records
• Click on your Profile in the menu
• You can edit your personal details (name, phone, email)
• Update your farm or business information
• Save changes
Yes.
• Go to Profile > Security Settings
• Enter your current password
• Type your new password and confirm it
• Save to apply changes
• Make sure you completed all required fields when adding the product
• Ensure you saved successfully
• If the problem continues, refresh the page or log out and log back in
• If it still doesn't show, contact support for assistance
• Go to PMS > Production
• Enter the number of eggs produced for the day
• Save the record
• You can view past production records in the same section
• Go to PMS > Expenses
• Select the expense type (e.g. Feed, Medicine, Utilities)
• Enter the amount and description
• Save the entry

Yes. The system is built with security in mind:
• Your password is encrypted
• Only you can access your account
• Sensitive information is not shared with other users without your permission
If you're just starting out:
1. Create your account and set up your profile
2. Explore the marketplace to see what other farmers are selling
3. Add your own products if you're ready to sell
4. Use PMS daily to record eggs, feed, sales, and expenses
5. Check reports regularly to learn how your farm is performing
Yes. All new users get a 30-day free trial to explore the system and use all features.
After the trial period ends, you must subscribe to continue accessing the system.
Subscription costs vary depending on the plan you choose.
• Log in and go to payment in your dashboard to see current plans and pricing
• Log in to your account
• Go to payment
• Select your preferred plan
• Follow the instructions to make paymentthrough mpesa
• Once payment is confirmed, your account will remain active
• If you don’t pay after your 30-day trial, your account will be marked as suspended
• You won’t be able to access the marketplace or PMS until payment is made
• Once you pay, your account is automatically reactivated
Yes. At any time, you can:
• Go to payment
• Choose a different plan
• The system will adjust your access and billing accordingly
• You will receive notifications and reminders before your subscription expires
• You can also check your expiry date anytime under Profile > Subscription Details
Currently, payments are made directly between the buyer and the seller.
• The seller provides their preferred payment method (e.g. cash, bank, or mobile money)
• Once payment is confirmed, the order is considered complete
• The platform helps you connect and track transactions, but does not process the money itself
For poultry farmers:
• Go to PMS > Sales
• Enter details of the sale (product type, quantity, total received, payment method)
• Save the record
• You can later view totals in the Reports section
