Terms & Conditions

1. AgriYetu provides a marketplace where users can buy, sell, and showcase agricultural products and services.
2. We also offer a Poultry Management System (PMS) for record-keeping, reports, and decision-making.
3. The platform is available to registered users only. Marketplace product posting is free up to the configured product limit, then pay-as-you-go access applies.

• You must be 18 years or older to create an account.
• You agree to provide accurate, complete, and updated information when registering.
• You are responsible for keeping your account details (username, password) secure.
• You may not create multiple accounts or impersonate another user.

1. New users can register and start using the marketplace immediately.
2. Product listing is free up to the configured product limit in platform settings.
3. After the free product limit is reached, additional product posting requires payment based on the configured annual product-access fee.
4. Access is pay-as-you-go: paid amount is converted into posting days proportionally.
5. If paid access expires, users can still use their account but cannot add extra products beyond the free limit until they top up.

• Individuals may apply to become AgriYetu Agents to earn commission by referring new users.
• Requirements include being 18+ years, having a valid ID, smartphone, good communication skills, and ability to work independently.
• Agents earn 10% commission on verified referrals.
• AgriYetu reserves the right to suspend or terminate agent accounts for non-compliance.

By using AgriYetu, you agree not to:

• Post prohibited content (illegal, harmful, or misleading products).
• Infringe on intellectual property rights (copyright, trademark).
• Engage in fraudulent or misleading business practices.
• Spam or post repetitive/irrelevant content.
• Harass, abuse, or intimidate other users.
• Misuse the payment system to avoid platform fees.

Violations may result in account suspension or permanent termination.

• Users must ensure all product descriptions, prices, and images are truthful and accurate.
• Any misleading or fraudulent listings may lead to suspension.
• Service providers must clearly state the scope of services offered.

• AgriYetu does not process payments for products or services.
• Buyers and sellers arrange payments directly (e.g. cash, mobile money, bank transfer).
• AgriYetu is not liable for disputes or losses arising from transactions between users.

• Your data will be stored securely in line with our Privacy Policy.
• We do not share personal information with third parties without consent.
• Passwords are encrypted, and security measures are in place to protect your account.

Your account may be suspended or terminated for:

• Posting prohibited content.
• Misleading or fraudulent activity.
• Intellectual property violations.
• Spam, harassment, or abuse.
• Payment disputes or fraud.
• Consistent failure to meet product/service quality standards.

Suspension details, including reason and duration, will be communicated to you.

• AgriYetu retains ownership of all platform content, logos, and branding.
• Users may not copy, reproduce, or distribute platform content without written consent.

• AgriYetu provides the platform as is and does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
• We are not responsible for losses arising from user-to-user transactions or third-party services.

• AgriYetu may update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
• Users will be notified of changes via email or platform notifications.
• Continued use of the platform means you accept the revised terms.
